Welcome to
Enclos de Tayac!! We are in the Périgord noir,
in one of the most beautiful and most interesting regions of Enclos de Tayac is a
property that has been inhabited since 1690 at least. After an eventful but
mostly unknown history we bought the property in 1995. Since 2001 we
completely refurbished the house and adapted it to our exigencies of modern
comfort. During the period of remodelling we lived in the barn, „ Located in a region of
exuberant nature with two charming rivers, Countless natural and
cultural monuments, like medieval castles, Romanesque churches, interesting
towns, like Sarlat and Périgueux,
but also many caves with and without prehistoric paintings, like the famous And last but not least the
Périgord is famous for its cuisine, foie gras,
truffles and walnuts… And if you are just
looking for tranquillity ….. Even during the main
season in the summer in most nights you will hear the call of the tawny - owl
only. …
